This place is amazing!!! We used another reef store who killed our tank, charged a fortune and almost had me flushing down the tank...until we discovered hooked on reef!!! Fred helped us save are tank and we have the best corals from there and the best service ever! If you are thinking of starting a tank this is the place to go!!!! Everything we have gotten from there has grown and is healthy!!!
Never want to order anything from here again. my biggest issue with this place was when I went on the site, they have many specials with free shipping but when you order it doesn't tell you what free shipping actually means(how long or via what carrier) and then it doesn't have the options for which shipping method you would like. then after you order all you get is a confirmation about the product and no shipping info. then if you try to call no answer even if you leave a voicemail, and no email back to you eithet if you email them. so then I went on the site and found out on a separate part that free shipping means regular USPS standard mail which by the time your coral comes in, it's already dead. which if you try to ask for money back according to the site only gives you a certain percent store credit back. So in all no thanks ever again.
Ordered from them online ....great prices free shipping and all but received and lots of dead items...emailed them and called them to no avail .....that was about a month ago..
The owner took the time to make sure I was doing the rite things and checked my water before he would even sell me some fish instead of just worrying about profit! Highly recommend this place!!
