Update, There was no invoice due to it was my boyfriend, his roofer friend and me who did the work. When speaking to Mr Ward he stated they were at my house for one hour 1130-1230, it took us 5 hours. One hour is just enough time to unload your tools, see that the work was already done and then load the equipment back on the truck. They saw the work was done, because Brett stated it was not done "right". They stated they still went ahead with the repair, they could have called my cell. They settle with me for $495.00. I never made an appointment and I never signed the contract. Truthfully, I do not think they did anything. I don't care how long they have been in business, they ripped me off. BEWARE The pictures are of our work, due to they were only there for one hour. I am surprised that Mr Ward would admit to being there only one hour and then demand $495.00. I had the work done by someone else. This Wed 10/25 there was a message left after 5 pm on my phone while I was at work that they wanting to do the work tomorrow(10/26) I did not get the message until today 10/27. When I called Brett he knew someone had been out and could see the patch, but he stated they did not do it "right", so he still did the work without an appointment and without calling me. I was only gone from my home yesterday from 9 am until 1 pm. I never saw them. They sent me a contract, which I never signed and I never gave them permission to go on my property. I also sent him pictures of the completed work and he is still trying to bill me. They must have come and saw the work done and left. They want to scam me!
My neighbor's and friends went with Ward roofing and were very pleased with everything. They also told me to recommend that a gentleman by the name of Michael is on site.

I received an estimate for roof damage during hurricane Irma from Brett at Joe Ward roofing. I initialed the proposal at that time, I clearly stated I was an RN and worked three days a week and that included every other weekend, so I wanted to be home when they did the work. He would not book an appointment at that time and told me to call on Monday. I called Monday and was told to call Tues. I worked Tues left the house at six get home at 8 pm, so I called on Wed again they would not book an appointment. In my mind, they did not want the work. They were giving me the run around.
Over all we are very pleased with the service and quality of this roofing company. We saw them work on a few other houses in Paseos, so we decided to give them a try. They finished our Roof repairs in one day! The final price was the price they quoted. They were able to predict the costs very accurately. They were on time, fast, and very professional. I highly recommend them.
Bottom line: crap work, hidden charges, no management, no communication. By far the worst experience I've ever had with a contracting professional! And I've been doing this 15 years.
I'm a professional contractor and I don't normally write reviews, but I will make an exception for jo wars roofing! They outsource all there work to random guys who do " at least in my case" really crazy work. So bad I can't beleave it passed inspection. Any exterior trim work you may ask them to do, during your first walk through, bad news. They replaced half the stuff, did a super poor job, and showed we a huge bill full crazy charges. They said none of that was included in our quote. Even though I asked for it from the start.
