Nice place to bring your family to see all the wildlife animals. The only flaw is they are closed Sundays which i don't understand. That's a day where people have off work and can go as a family. Also if you have injured animals bring them to Busch and they will take them in.
Perfect place for a mini trip with the kids! The staff here are very friendly and do a great job with the animals. Will be a frequent flyer here for sure!

Another interesting aspect is that it is next to a water treatment facility and the treated or recycled water is used all around you ... Even the cypress swamp area uses it.
Check ahead if you want to see the bears. Although some trails were closed due to flooding, I love and appreciate all wildlife sanctuaries and the animals they take care of. My daughter had fun trick or treating and petting a few of the animals. Great price to be able to get a glimpse of nature.
This is a wonderful place! They rescue, rehabilitate and release native Florida wildlife. If an animal is unable to be released they give it a home at their facility. Their exhibit area is set up like a small zoo. There is no admission fee but they do have several donation boxes around the property for you to help support their cause.
The only downside is that they are closed on a Sundays.
They do great things here. I have taken several animals here over many years. Possum, geese, ducks, owls. They always take the animals and treat them beautifully. I give them a donation every year. They do very important work. They have educational tours for kids and adults. They have cougar, bald eagles and Fox's. Whole lot more too!
